A fresh approach was taken to this important urban project in light of the feedback received on a previous scheme from the planning and conservation officers, local residents and businesses that live and operate adjacent to the site. The development includes the refurbishment of the retained facades and extension of 53-59 Old Town together with the construction of new buildings comprising residential accommodation and commercial uses.
